I-CAR CEO John Van Alstyne said that for more than three decades, I-CAR’s focus has been on ensuring that the industry has the training needed to do complete and safe repairs. That mission remains, he said, but he also sees “more to the I-CAR value proposition.”
“It’s not just complete and safe repairs but it’s also helping the industry be a better industry, a better business,” Van Alstyne said.
To that end, I-CAR hopes this year to demonstrate the role that its training plays in helping repairers also improve in terms of key performance indicators (KPIs) such as productivity, efficiency and customer satisfaction.
“We’re not saying that we’re the silver bullet to being a highly efficient and effective business or industry, but we’re part of that ecosystem,” Van Alstyne said.
This is part of why PARS has teamed up with I-CAR to bring state-of-the-art training for PARS’ PDR technicians. These classes are designed to give you the specific information you need to understand the complex and quickly-changing vehicle structures, materials and technologies in order to ensure you can safely and efficiently perform your PDR work.
“We believe that I-CAR will not only help you with your work, but help us attract business from those who want to work with the best of the best,” PARS CEO Rick Kierstead said.
